Jun Tsunoda

Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1960.

After graduating from Tama Art University, he began working as an art director in the advertising and publishing industries in the 1980s under the name "Junichi Tsunoda."

He has been highly acclaimed as a graphic designer. Since the mid-2000s, he has been active as a painter, and in addition to the paintings he has produced as his life's work,

Using a variety of materials, including watercolors, collages and silkscreens, he creates works that are full of rich colors and lines that are imbued with musical sensibility.

In 2009, he published the collection "Cave" through Foil. In 2012, he participated in the group exhibition "Abstract and Form: The Unrevealed" at the Kawamura Memorial Museum of Art.

His major solo exhibitions include "Hollow Organ" (2017, Curator's Cube), "Dust to Dust" (2016, CLEAR EDITION & GALLERY),

"When it's short distance between the moon and Mars." (2016, Gallery Trax),

Some of his works include "Nyoiki" (2010, FOIL GARRERY).

In 2017, he published a collection of his letter-related drawings titled SOUND AND VISION through torch press.
